The STELLAR project’s closing meeting was held between July 06-08, 2023 in the historic city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It is one of the oldest living cities in the world, with a rich history and vibrant present. Plovdiv was a European Capital of Culture 2019, and regularly hosts art and culture events. As a suitable venue was selected the DoubleTree by Hilton Plovdiv Center hotel in Plovdiv. The organization of the STELLAR Closing Conference was completed by the IANAO team. The meeting served both to recapitulate the achievements of the teams towards completing the project goals, to showcase the project to the wider public, and to highlight the synergy with the LOFAR-BG endeavor.
The dates for the final meeting were determined at the beginning of 2023. It was attended by about 30 participants, most of whom were involved in the LOFAR-BG infrastructure or the STELLAR project in some capacity. Somewhat unfortunately, a triennial solar radio conference was announced for the same week after the conference arrangements had been made, which reduced slightly the number of people who could attend. Attendance of the conference was free after online registration on the STELLAR website. English was the official language of the conference.
